Hi sir. Thanks for sharing knowledge. I make sure I don't miss your posts. I have a small question. As we know, Subex does not have any promoter. Isn't the role of the promoter critical in new age tech business? What are your thoughts?

Author's reply: "Yes Aishwary, the promoter's role is good for most scrips - you can assess the clarity of vision, passion, and strength of commitment.

Having said that, at the same time, there are many scrips that are extremely successful without a clear promoter. In India, ITC, HDFC, and L&T are a few names that come to mind that doesn’t have any clear promoter holdings. The executive management is accountable to a board elected by shareholders and in many such cases, there is less corruption and a superior reporting system as opposed to major promoter-led scrips. Hope this answers some of your concerns. Glad you like my posts."

Hi AG. Don't you feel the market has priced this into the subex stock already. Rijuta Kapoor an employee of Microsoft had already written about this integration in the techo community page within Microsoft 20 days ago. It's the efficient market hypothesis still working in the back drop. But your point is valid. What's stopping Subex from disclosing this news. I remember sometime in 2018 Subex had partnered with a lea American automobile OEM for the connection

Abraham George's reply:

"Hi Nandu, Subex's real value will show up when 5G becomes mainstream. No doubt, 5G is in most developed countries. Subex's business in India is not even 5% of their total revenue. That also shows their total global revenue so far is also not that stellar. But that could all change very quickly. Especially with their presence in about 90 countries and India being the world's best low-cost technology solution provider.

Can you please share the link/URL for Rijuta Kapoor's article? Thanks."

That's an interesting lens AG. 5G and beyond + india being a low cost tech partner sould be the possible story for Subex. I did not see that clearly.Their SaaS transition clubbed with the subscription model will also help with predictive cash flows in future.

I can see one more scenario. Just like Polaris Software Labs that later on hived off their digital business into intellect design arena and listed it. There could be a possibility of Subex demerging it's legacy RAFM business, their hypersense Anomaly detection business and Sectrio their OT and IOT business. The investment rational for all the three businesses are very different. Hence they could attract very diverse cohorts of investors .
